Pastor Eric L. Allen, a native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and whose life and ministry reflect a deep commitment to serving God and His people, is the founder and senior pastor of Living Water Worship Center in Chesapeake, VA.

Pastor Allen enlisted in the United States Navy in November 1997, a decision that would eventually bring him to San Diego, California. While stationed there, his life was forever changed. On Father’s Day in 2002, at Greater Christ Temple Apostolic Church in El Cajon, California, under the leadership of Dr. Donnie N. McGriff, Pastor Allen surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. He was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Over the years, Pastor Allen continued to grow in faith, service, and ministry. He was later ordained by Bishop McGriff and, in June 2021, was installed as Pastor of Living Water Worship Center. As a retired U.S. Navy officer with 27 years of faithful service, Pastor Allen brings discipline, leadership, compassion, and a global perspective to the work of ministry.

He carries a sincere passion for preaching and teaching the Word of God, along with a prophetic voice that has helped believers, military service members, and families around the world gain a clearer understanding of Scripture and develop a deeper walk with Christ.

Pastor Allen’s vision for Living Water Worship Center is to see the church become a place where people of every nationality, ethnicity, and background can encounter Jesus Christ and experience true deliverance—mentally, physically, and spiritually. His heart is to help people live with purpose, grow in faith, and prosper in the things of God.

Pastor Allen has been married to his best friend, ministry partner, and First Lady, Elder Ellasin D. Allen, for 28 years. Together, they are blessed with three children: Challanna, Darius, and Ayshia.
